Hi, I’m Kerstin! 👋
I’ve been learning languages since I was 10 and teaching German for years.
When I first started teaching, I taught grammar the way I’d been taught: rules first, tables up on the board, lots of explanation.
One day I tried to teach the German cases that way and watched the light go out of a lovely group of students who had been having fun up to that point.
I genuinely went home and cried.
After that, I changed how I taught grammar.
Less throwing rules at people, more helping them notice patterns, ask questions and make sense of what they were seeing.
That curiosity-led approach became Crack the Grammar Code, and now I want to share it with you.
